I am hiring a social media assistant to help me with the development and editing of content for Instagram!
Social Media Assistant
This is a part-time 1099 position and will begin as a 2-month commitment, from September 1-November 1 2022, with the possibility of continuing/future projects.
This position pays $25/hour, up to 12 hours per month (negotiable based on experience.)

- detail oriented
- tech savvy
- have a creative eye-you know how to make things look pretty
- familiar with anti-diet fitness (either as a coach or participant)
- familiar with my content, brand, and overall vibe
- experienced with editing Instagram reels
- comfortable working independently
- good at troubleshooting technology
- want to help me get some good anti-diet fitness info out into the world this year
- looking for a flexible super part-time gig this fall and are ready to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- synthesize Instagram posts for my fall 2022 launch
- collaborate with me for content ideas, timing, and flow of posts
- edit 2-4 reels per week using In-Shot editing tool (or something comparable)
- add my captions to reels, space captions and save to drafts, and occasionally edit carousel posts in Canva
- weekly-ish collaboration meetings with me as needed (Zoom or phone)
Here is the truth:
I am laughing as I create this job posting because it all feels very corporate to me, and I am very. . .NOT. LOL.
I am a creative and passionate coach and small business owner with a lot to say, and not nearly enough time to put it out into the world because I get easily frustrated editing reels and trying to find my own typos.
I have a laundry list of content ideas. I have dozens of audio clips saved and videos filmed on my phone. I need someone to take my content ideas and help me bring them to life. I’ll do the initial creation of video for reels, and write out copy for captions. You’ll take my videos, edit the reels, save them to drafts, and help me piece together the flow of my content.
I’m not so much looking for consulting or for you to take over complete management of my social media, though I AM open to collaboration about how make my content even better if you have good ideas too.
This will be a learn-as you go experience for both of us.
